I encourage you to join us as we look at eyewitness accounts of seven miracles performed by Jesus as recorded by the Apostle John – he calls them signs. These seven signs are reported by John to point his readers to the reality that Jesus has power over all our difficulties. His deep compassion motivates Him to act on behalf of the hurting and broken. Join us as we see the heart and power of Jesus in these seven signs.

Welcome to Fall at TCC. We are in a message series called Seven Signs. This series will come right from the historical writings of the Apostle John as he recorded just seven of the miracles performed by Jesus when He was alive. John doesn’t use the word that would typically be translated as “miracle.” Instead, he uses the word that is translated as “sign.” He doesn’t leave us guessing as to why he chose this purpose. He believes that these miracles are signs that direct us to see Jesus as Messiah – so they portray His mission and direct us to see that God meets us in the mess of our lives. God has the power to change our mess into something lovely and beautiful.
This SUNDAY as we continue our Seven Signs series, we get to see Jesus’ compassion, mercy, and power over brokenness as He heals a man who has been stuck for a long time. In fact, he’s been stuck so long that his disability has possibly become his identity. He doesn’t know any other way of surviving. He holds on to his brokenness as a way to be known. Join us Sunday as we see how Jesus responds to this man with truth and grace. He offers the man the kind of life he really wants but can’t see how it’s possible for him to attain it. Over the last couple of weekends, we have been exploring the good news that, in Christ, God has broken down every dividing wall to create one united family. Though we may come from different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, God weaves us together into a beautiful mosaic — His Church. Yet, many of us struggle to believe that we truly belong. We carry doubts about our worthiness, shaped by our past, our insecurities, and even our earthly relationships. This week, we’ll explore Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21, where he prays that we might not only know, but rest in the overwhelming love of our Heavenly Father. By the way, you don’t have to go halfway around the world to make a difference. Next Thursday, a group from TCC will be heading down to Convoy of Hope’s facility in Sacramento to help pack up a shipment of supplies to help those impacted by the fires in SoCal. Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, I want to invite you on a journey of discovering your true identity In Christ . This Sunday, we’ll kick off a foundational new message series walking through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live In Christ , finding our identity, purpose, and blessings through Him. Ephesians reminds us that our worth isn’t found in what we do or what’s been done to us, but in who we are as redeemed, chosen, and beloved people of God. It’s an invitation to step off the hamster wheel of performance and rest in the grace and love found only in Him. As we journey through this series, I also want to encourage you to dive into Scripture this year. What a joy it was to celebrate Christmas Eve with so many of you this week! From the glow of candlelight to the sound of our church family worshipping the Prince of Peace, it was a beautiful reminder of the hope and peace we have in Jesus. Christmas might be over, but the celebration isn’t. This Sunday, we’ll continue the celebration with our annual Remember and Celebrate service. Together, we’ll look back on the past year and reflect on God’s incredible faithfulness in our lives and in our church. It’s a time to give thanks, share stories of His goodness, and renew our hope for the year ahead. We’ll also celebrate communion together, remembering the gift of grace that binds us together as a family of faith. With the start of a New Year just a few days away, I also want to invite you on a journey through God’s word.
