Twin Cities is in a season of transition. Ron Thompson, our lead pastor of 32 years, is retiring and stepping out of his role. With that transition comes the opportunity for loss and grief and simultaneously brings the possibility of new beginnings and joy. We are poised for a new season as we meet and embrace Eric Wayman as our next Leader Pastor. This is an exciting time for our church, and you will want to make sure to engage as much as possible for your spiritual health and the future of our church family.
On Sunday we begin a series of weeks as we gather to celebrate what God has done in the past 32 years and anticipate the future He has in store for our church family. Kim Thompson will speak this week as we begin the series we are calling Transition – New Season. Same Mission. She is going to share a picture of what it looks like to trust in God’s faithfulness when we place our confidence and hope in His Word and embrace the love of His people.
Seriously, you won’t want to miss hearing Kim’s heart as she talks about the things that the Bible says will remain no matter what happens – Faith, Hope, and Love. God has a plan and purpose for His church and His people as we make this transition together.
Join us for Growth Path on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-5:00pm. What a great way to grow in your faith and beat the heat by hanging out with us for a couple of hours. This will be my last time to teach 101 Share Life, and I’d love to have you join me and Kim.
