It’s a busy time here at Twin Cities. This Saturday is our Sister’s Closet clothing exchange from 9:00am-noon. This is one of the many ways our church acts as a conduit of blessing to our community. If you would like to donate gently used clothing, shoes, or accessories, please bring them to the church today (Friday) between 9:00am to 6:00pm. And feel free to stay and help us set up for one of our largest outreaches of the year.
We are also gearing up for our Fall Family Festival, which is our largest outreach of the year. We anticipate having thousands of our neighbors join us on this fun, festive, and Christ-centered alternative to Halloween. An outreach event this big can’t happen without a lot of volunteer help, so please consider signing up to help shine light into an otherwise dark night. You can sign up to help here.
Finally, this weekend, we are continuing our Explore God series by asking the question, Who is Jesus Really? I’m excited to have a guest teacher, David Timms, head of the School of Theology at William Jessup University and a friend of our church. I can’t think of anyone better to help us grapple with this core faith question.
