Caring for our church home & pouring into the next generation

“We will declare Your praise to generation after generation.” -PSALM 79:13b

Investing in our Church Home

We recognize that the church is a people, not a building—but having a warm, welcoming place to gather as a church family is essential. For the last 20 years, our building has been a dedicated space for worship, connection, and life together. Now, it’s time to care for it so it can continue to serve and support the next generation. Three key areas need our immediate attention:

  • Roof Replacement – Persistent leaks throughout our facility are a clear sign that our roof has surpassed its useful life and needs to be replaced.

  • HVAC System – Our heating and cooling system has become unreliable and inefficient. While a full replacement isn’t necessary, major repairs are essential to maintain a pleasant environment year-round.

  • Prow Wood Restoration – The beautiful wood on the front of our building is the first impression people get when they come to Twin Cities, but 20 years of harsh weather and hungry woodpeckers have taken their toll. It’s time to repair and refinish the face of our church.

By making these vital improvements, we are preparing our church home for the future—so it can continue to be a place where faith grows, lives are transformed, and our community is strengthened.

Investing in a New Church

For the past two decades, Twin Cities Church has partnered with El Shaddai World Ministries to advance the gospel in Uganda, including the construction of nine permanent church buildings. Each of these churches has become a beacon of light in a spiritually dark region, where witchcraft and Islamic influences are prevalent.

These churches are more than just spaces for worship—they are centers of community life, offering both spiritual and physical support to the people in these villages. They stand as a permanent testimony to God’s presence, demonstrating that His love is real, His power is alive, and His church is here to stay.

This year, we are excited to break ground on the Kisirira Miracle Center in the village of Kisirira. This new church will continue our mission of bringing hope and transformation to the region, creating a lasting foundation for the gospel to spread and for lives to be changed.

How You Can Invest

This is an exciting time for our church, and we invite you to be part of these two kingdom investments. Twin Cities has already saved $160,000 toward these improvements, but over the course of this year, we hope to raise an additional $600,000 to make these projects a reality. Here's how you can contribute:

  • One-Time Gifts – This will make an immediate impact. Please use the green button below to give now.

  • Pledges – Consider making a pledge to give over the next year. Spreading your gift over time makes it easier to contribute to these important projects.

  • Gifts of Stock or Other Assets – If you’d like to give appreciated stock or other assets, please contact Karen or April on our Finance Team for details on how to make this type of donation.
