Christmas Food Baskets


Help a local disadvantaged family celebrate Christmas by providing food baskets for holiday meals. These families are receiving gifts from other places, but are so excited to receive these fun food baskets to brighten up their holidays. 

Baskets are DUE ON OR BEFORE Sunday, 12/8

Food Basket Details

Remember these baskets should contain items that families can make a few meals out of. They can also contain some fun items, but please focus on providing some of the following...

  • Canned meats (ham, chicken, tuna, etc.)
  • Pastas & pasta sauce
  • Side dishes (stuffing, rice, potato & noodle mixes) 
  • Gravy 
  • Canned veggies 
  • Canned or dried fruit 
  • Cornbread/biscuit mix 
  • Soups/chili 
  • Cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix
  • Peanut butter & jelly

Some extra fun items might include...

  • Hot chocolate mix/mini marshmallows 
  • Coffee/tea 
  • Sparkling cider 
  • Nuts 
  • Brownie/cake/cookie mixes & frosting 
  • Cereal bars 
  • Cookies 
  • Chips 
  • Popcorn 
  • Gingerbread house kits

Important Notes:


  • Note the size and make-up of your chosen basket family, and make your FOOD purchases with them in mind.
  • Please do not include frozen foods or perishables that need to be refrigerated, as delivery won’t happen immediately.
  • You may include a few small stocking stuffers such as a coffee mug or an ornament in the basket, but remember: these are FOOD baskets, so give the gift of food!
  • Don't forget to attach your family’s tag to the food basket so we know which family it belongs to!

At-Risk Youth Stockings


This Christmas stocking is a special gift to the 16-21 year old boy or girl that will receive it. Please spend some time & creativity on it, just as if you were stuffing a stocking for a family member!

Stockings are DUE ON OR BEFORE Sunday, 12/8

Stocking Details

Pick up an empty, guys or girls handmade stocking (that we provide) on Sunday or anytime during the week at the TCC office. Stocking stuffer ideas are below, but please be sure to include one gift card. They love those, and they don’t have to be too expensive!

Ideas for the guys: Gloves, fuzzy socks, hats, fun small toys or puzzles, headphones, flashlights, beef jerky, and of course, candy!

Ideas for the gALs: Gloves, fuzzy socks, hats, fun small toys or puzzles, jewelry, lotions, hair accessories, and of course, candy!

Please limit personal hygiene items to two or three. These are always useful, but not the most fun! The cost of the stocking stuffers should be in the $25-$50 range (suggested amount).

Special Abilities Stockings


This Christmas stocking is a special gift to the teen / young adult boy or girl that will receive it. Please spend some time & creativity on it, just as if you were stuffing a stocking for a family member!

Pick up an empty, guys or girls handmade stocking (that we provide) on Sunday or anytime during the week at the TCC office.

Please include items such as fuzzy socks, gloves, hats, squishmallows, stuffed animals, fidgit toys, and art supplies.

**For these stockings we ask that NO FOOD OR PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS be included.**
