Over the past few weeks, we’ve been exploring how our God-given purpose shapes every aspect of our lives. Yet, in the midst of our striving to fulfill that purpose, it’s easy to overlook a key part of God’s design: Sabbath rest. This weekend, we’ll dive into why Scripture calls us to build a weekly rhythm of work and rest. As we will see, the Sabbath is more than just a day off — it’s a sacred time to pause, realign our hearts with God, and experience the fullness of life He intends for us.
As I write this, Florida is being battered by a massive hurricane, while North Carolina is still recovering from the previous one. Many have asked how we can respond beyond our prayers for those affected. For those who feel led to help, we’ve identified two trusted organizations — Convoy of Hope and Samaritan’s Purse — who are actively providing relief. Click here to support their efforts.
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday.
