Serve Our Schools

Share the love of Jesus as we serve schools in our community!

9:00am-Noon: Work projects


What:

We are so excited to be able to serve schools in our community in May! We have several schools lined up with projects that will make a huge impact – and we’re still adding projects. Look over the list below to find the best location and projects for you, and then you can sign up as an individual, with your family, friends, or even with your Life Group! We can’t wait to live out the love of Jesus as we Serve Our Schools!

Take a peek at some of the ways we will be serving our local schools:

Deer Creek (NC)

We get to help keep their school safe by doing “preventative fuel reduction.” From light to heavier work available.


Grass Valley Charter School

We get to help with refurbishing the giant play structure behind their school, largely focusing on scrubbing and painting out graffiti.


NC SCHOOL OF THE ARTS

We get to clean up, dress up and refurbish 3 of their playground areas (raking, moving some playground pieces, etc.)


Ready Springs (PV)

They have invited us to help get their track in shape. We get to fill holes, add new topsoil, re-seed, etc.


SEVEN HILLS (NC)

The sister school to Deer Creek, they are hoping to get that same help with “preventative fuel reduction” to battle potential fire hazards.

UNION HILL SCHOOL (GV)

We get to dress up the front of the school by spreading wood chips, plus do some edging of planter boxes and lawns throughout the school.


WILLIAMS RANCH (PV)

We will help with all sorts of landscaping projects to help revitalize their campus.


YUBA RIVER CHARTER (GV)

We will work on building a playground box, do some minor mulch/repair work around some trees, and work on their front path and ditch to increase safety and help with water flow.


Teacher / Staff Support

We get to meet at TCC to write thank you notes, and even prepare some gift baskets for staff rooms at multiple campuses.


FOSTER FAMILY SUPPORT FAIR
We get to support Foster and Adoptive families as well as prospective Foster Families by running games for kids at the Foster Family Support Fair at Twin Cities Church from 10:00am-2:00pm.
