I want to begin by thanking you for stepping up last weekend and supporting what God is doing in Nepal through our ministry partner, Light 2 the World. Tomorrow is the Hope for Nevada County back-to-school event from 10am-1:00pm at Nevada Union High School. This event, which was initially conceived as a way for the churches of Nevada County to band together to love our neighbors, has grown into something even better – we not only have over 15 churches participating, but dozens of businesses and non-profit organizations as well as our city, county, and first responders. I have already seen the ways God has used this to build bridges and strengthen relationships within our community and now we get to love on financially struggling families in our community. I hope to see you there. For more information or to sign up to serve, click here.
