I can’t say enough how humbling it has been to me that you have responded so positively after the first two weeks of our Let’s Talk About It series. If you’ve missed either of the past two weeks, please take a few moments and engage online. I believe you’ll be glad you did. Maybe someone in your world needs what we talked about. If so, please forward the link to them.
Your wholehearted affirmation at how we opened up about issues that so many people are struggling with right now is just amazing. You are such a caring people to want your family and friends to hear the words of hope we’ve spoken the past two weeks. One person wrote to tell me about how our openness to the brokenness of people – to be able to admit it – is what first attracted their family to our church. TCC is a place where it’s okay to be broken, but just as I shared on Sunday, “It’s not okay to hide that you’re not okay.” I pray that many people will open themselves up to the available help.
This Sunday we will be talking about physical health. Did you know how you care for yourself physically impacts your mental and emotional health? According to Psalm 139, God made us wonderfully complex, and part of the wonder of who we were made to be is that we function best when our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects are healthy. God designed us to be congruous and whole in every way.
Please know that I am praying for you and your family and friends as we continue down this path to wholeness and possible healing.

See ya Sunday!
